LA CROIX-VALMER

Since 1892, when the first winery was founded, viticulture has been at the heart of La Croix-Valmer's history. With its three estates, Domaine de La Croix, Domaine de la Madrague and Château de Chausse, viticulture has been the centrepiece of La Croix-Valmer ever since.

Meanwhile, La Croix-Valmer is part of the National Park of Port-Cros and Porquerolles. It has a dozen unspoilt natural beaches, the most famous of which are in the districts of Sylvabelle, Héraclée and Gigaro. Outstanding retreats such as the Château de Valmer, La Pinède Plage, Lily of the Valley and Domaine Louise have established themselves as luxury hotels for wellness lovers.

Situated in a quiet area, far from the hustle and bustle, La Croix Valmer offers its inhabitants and visitors a high quality of life. La Croix Valmer was the first commune in the Var to commit itself to sustainable development as part of Agenda 21 and has received numerous awards (quality of bathing water, Blue Flag, classified tourist resort...).

Its beautiful coastal route leads you to Cap Lardier and Cap Taillat, located equally in La Croix-Valmer and Ramatuelle, accessing the beach of L'Escalet.
