SAINT-TROPEZ

In past decades, Saint-Tropez has attracted great artists who have been inspired by the light and the way of life of this place. At the end of the 19th century, Guy de Maupassant moored his yacht "Bel-Ami" on the quay of the small port of Saint-Tropez.

The writer was immediately captivated by the charm of this tiny fishing village. The young painter Paul Signac was also enchanted by this coastal destination.

The painting "Une vue de Saint-Tropez" was created here by Henri Matisse. From 1925, the novelist Colette spent her winters in Saint-Tropez, as did Errol Flynn and later Jean Cocteau.

After the filming of Roger Vadim's movie "'And God created Woman" in 1956, the little fishing village finally became a mythical place thanks to the icon Brigitte Bardot, alias BB. At the same time, the building that now houses the Musée de la Gendarmerie et du Cinéma was home to the famous brigade "Les Gendarmes de Saint-Tropez" starring Louis de Funès.

Discover Saint-Tropez and immerse yourself in its beauty: from the Place des Lices where the market is held, to the famous Port of Saint-Tropez, the epicentre of the village and its surroundings: the La Ponche district, Tahiti, La Belle Isnarde and Sainte-Anne with its 360° panoramic view.

Don't miss: Les Salins, La Moutte, Les Canebiers, Le Capon, Les Parcs de Saint-Tropez, where you will find a wide variety of architecture, from Provençal seaside villas to coveted fishermen's houses and authentic village houses, to luxurious and ultra-modern villas with panoramic sea views.
